Library Manager ("the app") is published by Vinay Kumar Sharma. This page explains what information the app handles and who can see it.
The app helps a library owner manage students, fees and attendance. The information you enter — student names, fathers'
names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, dates of birth, photos, seat and locker numbers, fee payments,
attendance, enquiries and expenses — is stored only on your phone
(in the app's private storage). The app does not upload it to our servers; we do not have servers that receive it.
Google Drive backup (optional). If you connect your Google account, the app saves a compressed copy of your records
to a private, hidden folder in your own Google Drive that only this app can open. We do not receive it and have no
access to it. You can disconnect at any time and remove the data in Google Drive > Settings > Manage apps. The app asks
only for the permission to use that app-data folder, not to see your other Drive files.
When you use "Back up now", the app creates a file and opens your phone's share sheet. Where that file goes
(Google Drive, WhatsApp, email…) is your choice and is governed by that service. Android Auto Backup may also copy the
app's data to your Google account if you have Google backup turned on.
The free version shows banner ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID),
IP address and usage data to show and measure ads. Where required, we ask for your consent first; you can change your
choice in Settings → Ad privacy choices. Subscribing to Pro removes ads. See Google's policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details.
Internet (to show ads, make a Drive backup and check your subscription). Advertising ID (free version only, through AdMob).
Billing (to offer the Pro subscription). Photos for a student's profile are chosen through your phone's own camera or gallery
picker, so the app does not need a camera or storage permission. The app does not use your location, contacts or microphone.
We do not sell your data. Messages you send to students (WhatsApp, SMS, calls) are sent by those apps from your phone.
You are responsible for having a lawful reason to hold your students' information and for telling them you keep it.
You can delete a student or use Settings → Delete all data at any time.
The app is for library owners, not for children.
